Ford and Stevenson High Schools will square off in a powerpuff football game Tuesday night to benefit student scholarships.

The game, set for Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Runkel Field on the campus of Stevenson High School, will raise funds for the Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars. Admission is $5 for ages 12 and over.  “Shout Outs” will be available for $1 each.

Since 2013, Dollars for Scholars has awarded $188,000 in scholarships to 51 graduates of Ford and Stevenson high schools.

The organization plans to award $80,000 this year to 2018 UCS graduates.

Teams and attendees will be competing for the “Battle of the Turf” trophy and the “Battle of the Stands” trophy.
