Summer Food Program

When school is out for the summer, meals will still be in session!

Children and teens ages 18 years old and under can receive free, USDA-funded, healthy meals at selected locations beginning June 17 through August 2. #UCSsummerfood

Providing children with access to nutritious food beyond the school year and into the summer months has clear health, education and economic benefits.

All meals must be eaten on site and cannot be taken home. Because these free meals are for children only, parents are encouraged to bring their own meals to eat with their children.  Persons up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled that is recognized by a State or local public educational agency may also take part in this USDA- funded program.

The meals will be provided without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
